Can you post a video of the final result? Something like, first turned off, then turned on, then the new turn signal.

 

I'm not sure what your looking for? The two images in my post show the running lights on, when I put on a left or right turn signal, those two rows on the selected side blink ( the actual turn signal area, which I no longer have as I had it painted over, is the white tear drop area and is no longer used), when I step on the brake, those two rows indicate a brake initiation. That's all there is to it.

 

I just had the entire lens tinted with dark film.
Looks great. Takes away the hidious bright cherry red look.
