Since getting my 2012 Panamera Turbo S in February I’ve only had a few successful launches and many failed attempts.
At a complete stop I push firmly on the break with my left foot. Put the car in sports plus and when I give it gas either slowly or foot too the floor it struggles to get above 3K RPM. If I’m just driving in sport or sport plus I have no performance issues and can easily get above 4K RPM.

Any ideas?

 

Make sure all the conditions are ideal. Not exactly sure on the details or which settings prevents launch controls, but let the car run until it reach its operating temperatures...which is, give or take, +/- 10miles. Check your tire settings, comfort to standard, summer to all-season to winter. Check your tire pressure, which probably means your TPMS should be operational and the required tire pressures depend on your tire settings. Oil levels, and wouldn't hurt to make sure the A/C is off.

I struggled to engage launch control over the winter, even when letting the engine idle to reach operating temperatures....but I didn't try to drive it around for a few miles, and who knows, maybe my tire pressures was a little low during winter. I just gave up trying at the time.

I just tried about a week ago, and success. Warmer weather, tire pressures met, topped off my oil levels, who knows
