Stabilizer bar bushing replacement

I replaced mine about 10-15k miles ago along with tie rods, sway bar links, upper and lower control arms. I am getting the good old clunk sound going over bumps on driver side. I was told that if bushings are not installed under full weight load ( with a jack stand holding up the suspension components) the bushings will twist and fail once the car is brought back to ground level. Has anyone heard of this or know if this is the only way the bushings should be replaced? Not looking to inspect upper control arm again that was recently replaced.

I could see that happening, if installed with the suspension hanging, they would be under a lot more twisting pressure all the time when you lower the car back down.

Grease or no grease?

I have heard conflicting info on the grease or no grease of the bushings. If no grease, pre-load seems crucial. If grease, then it would not seem as important.

the only place you could use grease on stock bushings would be on the sway bar 2-piece, the control arm bushings are 1 piece and hard pressed into the arms
