PCM keeps resetting/rebooting

I keep having this PCM keeps resetting/rebooting. It’s not like any of the other reset issues that I’ve seen on this site. This won’t even boot up to the preset stations. It’s not like any of the other reset issues that I’ve seen on this site. This won’t even boot up to the preset stations. Here’s a quick video attached. Not sure if I am able to attach it:

Any help would be much appreciated. It’s very frustrating

Ok, didn’t drive my car yesterday but this morning when I turned on my car, the radio mysteriously started working normally with all presets intact. Freakin weird. I’ll take the victory!

PCM is still looping. Even when the car is turned off the PCM still keeps rebooting. None of the factory reset procedures work. It’s very weird. Any help would be much appreciated

Remember reading somewhere that the hard drive in the PCM can go defective leading to this problem. Not sure if this helps:

Thanks I will try it out. Is there a post anywhere on how to remove the head unit on a 2011 Porsche Panamera?

Found this:

I’ve read that centre vents can be tricky to remove without special vent removal tool:

oh man! Great video! Relatively easy to remove.

Question: I have my PCM with version 2.6 (I believe), how can I upgrade to 3.1 (if at all possible) or can I buy a head unit and swap it out? What programming is needed so that another head unit (from another Panamera with v3.1) can be compatible with my car?
