PTT driver window does not roll down all the way

While back, I had an issue where the door switch failed on the driver side (car would not lock/arm).
Bought new switch and replaced it.
During replacement, I routed a wire inside door panel, so that when the window was rolling down, it rolled down but stopped on the wire I misrouted (I can see it was happening as the wire was sharply kinked).
This misrouting of wire, caused my driver side window, to roll up and down no problem, except when rolling down, it would stop about 2 inches from fully down position (awkward for shose sunny moments).
Well. I opened the door up again today. Fixed the routing so window does not stop on the wire anymore.
The window keeps stopping in same position now as if it learned to stop in the new lcoation.
Is there relearn procedure for window regulators, to tell them how far to roll?Anything else going on here that I am missing? Thanks..

skiracer13 is infamous around these parts
I think there's a reset procedure (roll it all the way up, then hold it in the up position for 10 secs?) to restore full range of motion.

I did that and nothing changed. However, I was scouring through forums and looked up relearn for audi. I dkd the below procedure and it got my window working just right. I know some steps may not be logical, but this is what I did, and that resolved my problem.

STEPS:
  1. Roll window down all the way
  2. Get into the car and close door
  3. Pull on the window close button and hold it up while window rolls up all the way. DO NOT LET GO OFF THE BUTTON
  4. Keep the button pulling up for another 12 seconds (relearn is 10 seconds, the two are extra)
  5. Roll window down all the way with auto down
  6. Repeat steps 3 and 4.
  7. Roll window down all the way while continuing to push the window open button. DO NOT LET GO OFF THE BUTTON
  8. Keep the button pushed for another 12 seconds
  9. Release button
  10. Pull on the window close button, but do not use the auto close function (basically, pull up on button a little, so the window slides up maybe 2 or 3 inches)
  11. Now, push the window open button without using the auto open function, and allow the window to slide down all the way.
  12. The window should roll down all the way.
  13. Use auto close function to roll window all the way up (verify closing all the way)
  14. Use the auto open function to roll window down all he way (verify opening all the way)
  15. Done
As I said, original steps were shorter, but did not work. I added to the steps, coming up with above process. Now window is perfect down/up all the way.
Thanks.

I found the reset procedure but did not work for me at all. That is why I started changing. Then finally got the fix. Thanks though.
