P0455 Large Leak

Hi All, I have a 2010 Panamera Turbo with 48K miles. I am getting a check engine light with code P0455. I have already replaced the gas cap with a brand new one. I took it to an independent and he smoke tested it and said the vapor canister was bad. We got a new one from Porsche and installed. Check Engine with same code came back. Independent is now stumped. Any ideas of where he should smoke to look for leaks? Saw a thread where a vacuum hose behind the intake manifold can come loose. Can he smoke test the manifold directly?

Thanks for any advise.

most likely that was my thread, but it's not helpful to you as the Turbo doesn't have that connection on the manifold

I would have them check the vacuum pump, I hope that is not it as it is in a bad place for maintenance ($$)

Thanks, they are still working on it. I had them install two new front Arnott Air Supsensions and right after I picked it up, i got the check engine light (P0455).

Was hoping that they disconnected something but the smoke test does not show it.

I just did my driver side strut a few months ago, this is the side you need to pull the wiper motor. I don't remember having to tinker with anything to do with EVAP emissions. Hmmm. Was it possibly the infamous "T" connection that the non-turbos do not have?

Thanks, i was hoping it is a loose connector. Indy replaced the tubing that is on top of the motor and ordered another gas cap just incase. 2 days later, check engine light is back on. At this point, Indy is advising me to directly to Porsche. I made an appointment to have the Dealer check it.

Hi, can you share what happened after it was checked by the Porsche dealership? It seems like I'm starting to get the recurring P0455 / P2A00 / P2A03 / P0155 / P0135 every time I filled up the gas recently. My fuel tank cap already got replaced. Thanks.

Mine is 2010 4s.

Porsche dealership did nothing. I got help from someone over on Rennlist and it was a connection on the bottom of the manifold. We smoke tested and took the manifold apart. Once we did that, we saw a connection that came undone. Put that back on and the check engine light has not come back.
