Engine power reduced

Got a nice big red alert the other day,"Engine Power Reduced' car seem to be running fine, limped home and got out the ODBCII tool. P1347 Valve lift control Bank 2, did a quick search and found
"Possible fault causes
- Engine oil pressure too high or too low
- Loose contact or corrosion on connectors or lines (Power supply Solenoid valve, hydraulic valve lift control)
"
fired up the PIWIS III and took a look, first thing the diagnostics had me do was start the engine and check the oil pressure
was reading 3.1-3.6 bar at idle - looks like we found our culprit. want to do more checks before ordering the parts and tools to do this. (about $600 and looks fairly easy to access and change)
put the PIWIS in simulation mode and dug around a bit, found a Oil pressure Control test, think I'll run that and see what happens.

anyone else experience this error?

I looked for my past posts. Not this one, (I confess: thankfully).

one of the few
ran the "test" I found, actually just gives you the pressure reading, with no reference as to where it should be or anything else
for reference (in case someone has some info) RPM 672, Oil pressure (absolute) 4068 hPa, oil temp. 24C

everything still makes me think it's the pressure control solenoid

2021 Pacifica Oil Pressure.

In stop and go traffic driving home from Las Vegas today I noticed the menu item in our rental to display oil pressure. Pretty sure I saw it hovering around 30 PSI so I would say the almost 60 PSI you are seeing is very likely too high.

If you dig a little further PIWIS should say the likely causes ranked from most likely to least. What does it say? Mine is broken again otherwise I'd check....

lists most likely cause as the pressure control solenoid, which I've ordered, along with the 2 tools it takes to do the job ~$600 all together
