Might want to mention what year and engine. If the filter is on the bottom, there’s not much point to using an extractor.

Don't know how you would do it as there is no oil dipstick to facilitate access to the oil pan.

cbwinters01 is infamous around these parts
the supercharged 6's in the se hybrid come with a capped dipstick tube that you can buy the associated audi dipstick for. they also have the oil filter up top. i've done it both ways, but have used the fluid extractor for my oil changes for my last two oil changes. it is definitely the way to go if you have the option. very simple and much less time consuming vs having to remove the panel underneath and replace the aluminum drain plug.
