Fans blow hard when A/C is on
Fans blow hard when A/C is on
I've noticed in the past few weeks (before my shock started leaking
) that my fans blow hard when the AC is on. After some quick googling it seems low refrigerant would cause this. However, after using the A/C recharge cans, the gauge shows that the pressure is right where it should be. A/C blower control unit and relay were replaced 50k miles ago (in 2019). Car is not running hot when the A/C is on either. Are there any other causes (i.e., compressor) or could the refrigerant gauge be wrong?

Will definitely try that once the car is back on the road. Thanks!
When you hace the desired temperature and fan setting you want you can save it to be recognized by the key by saving your settings on the door buttons. Everytime you enter the car and start it, it will remember your seat, radio, mirrors, and AC temp and fan speed. I think it saves which screen you have displayed on the instrument panel also. Hope that helps!
You were correct, good to know. As soon as i shut off the rear, fans calmed down. Do you have 4 zone or 2 zone?
