Hey everyone, I recently purchased a 970.1 Turbo S and am looking to do the PCM 3.1 Carplay Chip upgrade. Wondering if doing the upgrade changes the quality of music played out of the car? I would plan on using it wired and the car comes with the Burmester sound system so I would like to experience the best sound quality possible while adding a nice modern touch of Apple Car play. Any feedback is much appreciated.

 

You need to buy Mr12volt card. Sound is very good.

carplay audio quality is much better than bluetooth. Wired or wireless CarPlay is better. Your car would only do wired CarPlay. You’ll notice the difference if it can be done

 

I didn't notice a difference in quality in my car but I have the Bose system in my 2012. I installed the Isudar board.
