Early October is positively gorgeous in the northeast; the air is crisp, and the leaves are all changing colour. For our autumn mini-rally, we'll start in Bar Harbor, Maine, where we will check in to our first hotel. There is much to do in Bar Harbor, including a highly recommended visit to beautiful Acadia National Park. Make sure you're back in time to meet your fellow participants as we walk a block to the waterfront, where we'll have our first party, a reunion for some, a meet-n-greet for others. The next day, we enjoy breakfast in town, and then start down through the twisty coastal roads. We travel about 130 miles over 4 hours through some amazing 35mph roads offering everything from hairpin turns to scenic photo-ops. We stop in Georgetown, where we'll eat at a stellar 5 star restaurant. From there, we make a spirited highway run to Boston, where we jump on the AKA Rally party bus and head into our venue of choice to party hard for the night. No need to worry about driving back to the hotel, as the party bus is on-call to shuttle us wherever we'd like! The next morning takes us on a trek west across Massachusetts, snaking along route 2, again enjoying some awesome twisties, and breathtaking scenery. We then head south through Connecticut to our final destination: New York City. Our final dinner and party will eclipse the rest, as we meet with friends that couldn't make the entire trip.
So far the other cars that have signed up are.....e46 m3, 2 STi's, Gallardo, Bentley Flying Spur, couple rental Ford Mustang Shelby GT-H's, e60 m5.......05CayenneTurbo

AKA Rally is an awesome experience. You save yourself the price tag of gumball, have an amazing time and meet some interesting people. I've made life long friends from both AKA Rally '05 and the brief 3 days of '06 I participated on. I'll be attending the fall rally also, highly recommended!

Suman, it is Fri - Sun like D said. I'll call with more info.
I am not sure exactly when I'm heading up. Most likely some point on the 5th, as it's a 12 hour drive frmo my house in MD. I'll keep you updated.
