So I converted over to Cobb tuning in order to bring my custom tuning closer to home. My shop got the tune installed & did a couple of pulls on the Dyno.
460hp/500lbs torque to the wheels. Good start.
what was the prior tune? any chance you can make timmayfest in columbus oh june10-13? theres a bunch of turbos witihin a coupler hundred miles of the event and im trying to get as many as possible to go! its a blast!
The accessport is a great tool and really makes the porsche platform more viable for tuners and performance needs. No need anymore to jump through hoops. Any knowledge local tuner can work with you to keep the car at max performance and increase the power as you add mods.
Also the guages and the ease to log makes it probabaly the best all around thing to happen to the porsche performance community in a long time.
I have a stock turbo with a UMV tune. My intent is to go mild with a plenum and exhaust eventually. I have always liked Cobb Tuning, would I see any benefit from going with the accessport now? Or do you see the benefits really when going with a custom tune?
Something wasn't right if you only dynoed 460hp/500lbs with UMW ZC turbos. Do you have the UMW K16/997GT2RS ZC turbos?
I have these and when I ran them on a stock engine I dynoed 590hp/630lbs on a dynojet. A stock 2015 ZO6 dynoed 589/613 on the same dyno right after we dynoed my car (ZO6 is listed as 650 crank front the factory). This provides a good data point for the dyno.

I'm good friends with Tim. I was there last year. I'll be there this year as long as my employer doesn't send me out of town that weekend. -Wade
The turbos are UMW K16/24.5 ZC. I was surprised it didn't dyno higher than it did. I was hoping to be in the 500hp range based on the parts.
1 thing i see in the pic and from your list is you have really small i/c and the fans are a good distance away. when on the dyno you need the fans to be as close to the bottom of the i/c as possible and turbned up as fast as they will go blowing fresh air backwards thru the i/c you may be heat soaking the i/c quickly in the shop. also what inj are you running? its certainly possible you may have some fuel issues.
