color

Aloro Green - with grey interior - that was a standard GT color... I specifically wanted that scheme.

Beautiful. That's the color I really wanted but couldn't find one. I then got impatient and bought a Tore Red, which I love, but secretly still want green.

I was wondering where I lost that screw. Thanks for finding it for me. Seriously, sorry to hear about that. BTW, thanks for the tip on the shop for the wheel alignment. They did an excellent job.

I've been wanting to replace the shifter surround in my car since forever. Finally did it! The carbon fiber one weighs only 1.6 oz. The original, much to my surprise, is milled aluminum - so it only weighs 6.0 oz. The top of the aluminum one is pretty dull on its own (like I've said, I think it looks much better when paired with a DBS shift ****), but the underside shows how much work went into making it.

The carbon fiber shifter surround is OEM from Aston Martin, and can be bought on my website: http://www.redpants.lol/shop/carbon-...shift-surround

Here's the comparison pic showing a 4.4 oz (over 1/4 lb) reduction in weight:

Just ordered a clutch and lightweight flywheel from VelocityAP! That's supposed to shave 17 lbs from the car, so I'm down nearly 150 lbs in total. Shouldn't have a problem hitting 250 lbs at this rate And the lightweight flywheel should help with that sluggish throttle response, which is a huge bonus!

Expensive...but worth it.

Telum/Redpants. You are going to love the changes this modification brings to your car.

I am planning on swapping to this clutch either late this year or early next year. The only tool I might need to purchase is one to compress the new clutch assembly for install. Have you decided on one to use for that? I will be installing this one myself.

I might end up ordering one (they're expensive, though), but it's possible to install without the compression tool. It's just very tedious and you have to be extremely careful.

Rich-per our PM you will love it. I would call it the single biggest improvement out of 8 years of mods to my V8V. I would also offer up that you should do the headers as well at the same time. I did it with a friend and we were able to do clutch, flywheel and headers in roughly 10hrs.

We did a dyno on my 4.3L post install in 100 degree heat and the car put down 375. I am considering adding the 2 piece rotors and removing the air boxes as my last NA changes to the car and will dyno in cooler weather. Hoping to hit 400 at the wheels naturally aspirated. That and close to 150lbs taken off has transformed this car entirely!!!!
