Now THAT seems like a simpler way to go! If the center doesn't need support this seems pretty straightforward. Who made those?

Actually, 350mm is pretty close to 14inches but probably not so much more as to run into the issues we see spacing out to 380mm. 14inch rotors from say Coleman with a proper hat and hardware might be cheaper?

I've been looking at the girodisk option, but the mating surface is too smal imo.

Also having the pieces bridged eases installation, (not that this is something you do really often, and if you do you probably should use studs)

I've finaly got the 350 discs and have tried fit it today and made the necessary adjustments.
Ordered the updated brackets from the 3d-printer and if everything goes as planned the drawings should be ready in a couple of weeks.

What do you guys think? should i cut the bridge part?

The bridge would.probably add more machine time, and you would need two different designs, whereas just a rectangle spacer could be used in either application. Maybe a r change with a lip on one edge to keep it positioned?

Absolutely, the challenge is if i go with rectangular spaces and remove the brige the positioning of them will be a issue.
Girodisk obviously made them cylindrical because of this.
But then again the clamping surface is alot smaller which i don't like.

If i were to add a lip i guess that will also increase machine time.

Any input appreciated

I could be wrong, but if I recall the diameter of the Girodisc spacers is larger than the area of the caliper mounting lugs so it's not an issue. I've sold dozens of the Giro rotors with the spacers and it's a well proven design.

I just checked it in the drawings, and the girodisc option covers alot of the surface.
I just added the cylinder in the drawing for comparison.

just realised you shared the measurements of the girodisc spacers.
I've added it to the drawing for comparison

as long as the round spacer is the same diameter as the head of the bolt shouldnt that be enough? it doesnt do anything but raise the caliper and any open area wouldnt have any effect on surface area
