Well yesterday I finally put my corbeau rrb seats in my car. They are a reclining full bucket. I used planted mounts. Besides a litre modding with a steel bushing and bolt for the seat belt latch, it bolted right in. Much more comfortable than the stock comfort seats and the support they have is 1000 times better. Very happy with them and will have them in the car until at some point it turns full race car. At that point it will get a full cage and fia buckets. Roll bar and harnesses will be added as well for autox and club track days.
How well does the lap belt hold you down? Seems like it buckles over the bolster and not through the holes in the seat? How much room between the bolsters? I'd love something supportive but end up on top of the bolsters rather than between them :-(

no way of fitting in in the hole. Holds you down fine though. The gt2 and gt3 seats are similar where the latch is at the top of the bolster height wise. I'll measure with for ya her. I can tell you it's not a far mans seat though. I'm a pretty small guy and it coasy even for me.

The proper way to do it is to route the 3pt. seatbelt through the left seat hole exactly as is done on the OEM EURO 6GT3 seat. Very easy to do. The seatbelt will clip in to the buckle above the right seat bolster, again exactly as is done on the OEM seat.
On this seat the side bolsters are low enough that they will be below the level of the hips and I don't believe you would have any issues simply routing the seatbelt over the seat as Freddy is doing without looping it through the hole on the left side.

Here is the seat belt routing straight out the the Porsche 6GT3 Clubsport brochure. Obviously on the Corbeau seats you would not be able to route it through the upper hoops.
Ah, thanks for the pics and clarification! I'm thinking 15inches would be too tight. Sadly I'm no longer thin as I used to be and while I don't think I'm fat I think reality is a bit harsher! :-O One of these days I'll find something, at least I've got the sport seats and not the softer comfort seats!
Very nice choice on the Corbeaus. I've had their CR1s in my Chevy for the last 2 years and absolutely love them. About to move them into my daily driver as I'm getting a full cage and fixed backs in February.

If they are 15" across then they will fit a pretty large guy, 38" or so waist. Unless you're huge they would fit. My seats are 13" wide at the hips and provide a snug fit. I have a 33" waist.
Ah, thanks John! Indeed I think I'd fit that, whew! I'll have to take some measurements on my current seats and on me, food for thought for sure so long as belt routing could be done safely. Driving around here can be scary, one of my office mates was doing 55 and got rearended hard enough to shove the bumper to her back seat - it was a wagon! 2 others had their cars totaled recently and we've yet to have snow, secure belts desired for sure...

look at the corbeau lg1. it has a much lower bolster to allow for bigger folks. and think that porsche secures people in the car by a bolt thats attached to the seat!! should the seat fail whats holding you in? all seatbelt attachment points should be secured to the floor pan independent of the seat. first car i have ever seen this on
