AM vantage floor mat options
Well I decided to jump on board this train several weeks ago and worked with Andrew to set up some Black w/ silver stitching in diamond format with the AM wings and a DB9 logo. Unfortunately I wont see them for a year, but nice knowing they will be sitting in the car after they air out. I think they came out great, Speedracer800, the previous owner of this car, had taken out the headliner and sourced OEM alcantara in Tailors Grey, and had the headliner diamond stitched. So this will help tie in the diamond stitching more, and likely I will get the door cards slightly done and maybe the center console. Not sure if that will be too much but we will see. Here are the matts below:

headliner??
Mine just came as well but I ordered from a different source.. Before seeing this thread. I really like them and this company offers the embroidery as well but I opted not to do it. Must say I'm having some buyers remorse right now.. :/ I should have gone for the embroidery.. Damn.
The order wound up taking a bit longer than expected so they were kind enough to include the rear mats at no cost.. Very nice gesture, although my car is a 2 + 0. lol
I like the idea of the removable heal pad.. Obviously helps to absorb the most vulnerable area for wear and tear and replacements are very inexpensive.
As Andrew (Sheriffdept) mentioned I removed the headliner in his DB9 a couple years ago and had it re-upholstered in the diamond quilted style. There's another forum member here who I've been helping out as he's doing the same thing right now. I think the headliners with this pattern look very elegant.. Great look for Aston Martin no doubt.
I've sourced several leather hides from the company who supplies Aston Martin and have plans to re-upholster my seats, rear seat storage area and door panels in the near future much like the DBS Ultimate Edition were done.. See photo here. What do you guys think? Thumbs up?? Or too much diamond??
Speaking of sourcing leather, does anyone know of a good leather I can source that is treated or suitable for fine detail embroidery for a headrest? Simple black. (We tried to embroider the AM logo in my headrest but it looked sloppy and imperfect so I'm going to get my headrests redone once I find a suitable leather.)

No, didn't have a picture of the design part or even a wide shot of the headliner. And, no, I didn't even think of it. But good idea.
Yours-----------I would not do that much diamond in your DBS. IT would be too much overall. IF you have the floor mats, and do door cards with diamonds.
Then---- I would do a design on the seats similar to the Vanquish ones; where the diamond is on the sides bottom and top of the seats, and do the side parts of the rears. In other words, use the diamond stitching as a contrast to the flat black rather than make the diamond stitching as the main focus. You could always add in the top to the center console in a design to bring that focus there. But the pictures you showed would be way too much IMHO
I ordered a set from Diamond Mat after seeing this thread. About 3 weeks from order to delivery. the package was a small wad :-). but after unwrapping and letting them rest for a week they set right into place and look great. Good fit around the left foot rest, an area that concerned me.
The constant emails with discounts that don't actually apply to the cart have been annoying but at the price asked the discount is a moot point to me.
I will probably buy a set for my 911 before I finish the IMS work and put it back on the road this springl
