Silly Rabbit. I almost bought the IPD. I'm so glad I came across theirs while looking at stuff on the web. They had it listed for 997s only but I was happy to see they have them for 996s as well when I called. Sean is a great guy.
They also have CNC brake master cylinders which is another super niece peace.
Great pricing to boot. Love the fact that he doesn't believe in the huge Porsche Tax. Price of the plenum and the 82mm TB is better than just the plenum from some other vendors.

So you bought the 82? Curious to hear how it drives. I know some had issues with drivability with the 82

I will call him and mention that.

I will makeshift a T-section to get that off of. Didn't want to bother with tapping and drilling. I want to put my baby back together.

I might just vent that out with a filter on it. Oil isn't exactly the best octane booster... lol

If any of you have suggestions\advice\caution regarding that, please feel free to chime in. I will not get offended.

I will have to go grab a check valve for the other.

Might be too late now but it would be nice to see a before and after dyno, something no one seems to do inexplicably.

Unfortunately, I have changed a bunch of things around so it wouldn't really be that helpful. If someone is willing to dyno, and only do this particular plenum\TB, back to back, I'll show up and yank it off to put it on their's to get the numbers.

They are buying lunch..!

- key to on for 60 seconds
- turned off for at least 10 seconds
- start the car

Is that the procedure?

Correct.

You took a lot more out to get the plenum in than I did. The only thing I took out was the Y pipe lol. Looking back the way you did it might have been a lot easier.

Did you end up having to loosen and rotate down the intake manifold cross-brace that sits under the plenum? I had to rotate it until it was almost on the cooler underneath in order to get the angle right for the TB.
