P3008 CEL any help?

Camshaft position sensor? I believe there are two of these, should I just replace them?

If that is your issue, they are not too bad to change and pretty cheap parts. Right above the plugs on either side. See below:

Good luck.

The one on the driver's side is a piece of cake. The one on the passenger's side, is a bit trickier. It is best to use a long extension and go through the space between the trunk opening and the hatch. Use a terry cloth to wrap the extension and prevent it from hitting/rubbing on the paint.

I'm seeing this same P3008 fault code on my 997.1 turbo. No CEL, just noticed it when reading errors with Cobb accessport. Car is stock apart from Cobb stage 1 tune and seems to run fine otherwise. Did replacing the camshaft position sensors resolve the code? Thanks!
