Try the Melrose Strip Auto Detail Car Wash. Its 100% hand wash and do not use rails. They clean both interior and exterior for 12.99. Tuesday and Thursday and you get the special. Usually there are lots of high end nice car there. So its a good place to look at cool modified rides

I'm looking at my 2 hands now. That's the best car was in LA. I don't want anyone else washing my P-car.

not sure if you guys use this type of service in LA... but in OC, i have a guy that just comes to my house once a week to wash all my cars ... charges $20 for a good wash and you don't have to drive anywhere to get it done.... I've used him for 3 years now and no issues whatsoever.

Regarding Melrose Strip, I used to go there religiously every Friday afternoon. Fun to watch all the girls while you're waiting. But then one day I was watching the guys actually wash my car and saw this short dude wiping down the top of my car. Because he was reaching up, his t shirt exposed his belt buckle rubbing all up against my paint. No major damage but there were all these slight horizontal scratches right at the height of this guys belt. It had to be buffed out.

There are a few good detailers in LA that will come to your place.

People servicing cars should be prohibited from wearing belt buckles for the obvious reason...one would think it's a no brainer, but NOOOO!!! (I had a similar experience)

I wash mine in my garage. The floor is pitched so the water flows out, two fans are blowing to keep me "cool", plus I have a fridge (for my refreshing beverages), TV, and the sun stays off of it so I can take my time and not worry about water spots.
