Big fire going on in that area right now hopefully it will be out by sat you should check with someone on road closure ,wanna do this run one of these days but can't make it this weekend

 

Lets make it at 7AM at the Shell gas station to start heading out. For the folks that wants breakfast lets shoot for a 6AM spot close by. I will update the main thread

 

Hey guys, the big fire in the area may put the brakes on our plans. Let's see what happens on Friday and Saturday and make a final decision on Saturday afternoon for the Sunday drive. I believe the La Canada fire is only 10% contained, so I can't imagine Angeles Crest Highway will be open for us on Sunday. We may have to push this back until Sunday the 6th.

If angeles doesnt work out then I will set it up for another date, maybe the following sunday (labor day weekend). How is this supercar sunday event in woodland hills? shall we make that the backup option for the sunday drive

Hey guys, the big La Crescenta fire is going to put the brakes on our Sunday plans. The Angeles Crest Highway is closed and the fire is far from being contained. We will schedule it for another Sunday, hopefully next Labor Day Sunday if the fire clears out.

Long weekend is bad for me and I'm sure alot of others too for the holiday weekend. Can we do it the weekend after the long weekend? Also why so early?

I could probably do labor weekend if you guys reschedule ,supercar sunday is kinda like cars and coffee in Irvine but a little bigger and little more unorganized ,they have it every sunday but the last one of the month is usually the best and if your lucky Jay Leno shows up at this one.

 

Cool you moved it to the 13th, I might be able to make it now! Keep you posted.
