Does anyone plan on making it to the Louisiana Ferrari club's toy run? They say that all makes are welcome and the end goal is to make sure every kid in the hospital gets a christmas gift.

It’s that time of year again, and if you really want a true blessing please show up and or contribute to this event.

Meeting: Toys R US 3609 Veterans Memorial Blvd., Metairie - (504) 455-9513
Time: 11:30 AM Saturday December 19th Rain or Shine
We’ll have an hour and a half to shop. Or if you have already purchased your toys bring them with you and meet us when we leave at 1:00PM. We will have a pickup truck in case we cannot fit all the toys in the cars. But please bring your cars, this is what the kids want to see. I will have a follow-up e-mail about what kinds of toy to can give to the kids.

Hey NOLA: When/where do you plan to start? I'm 99% sure I will be able to make it. Wanna have a meeting of the non-F-cars?

 

I'd like to make it to toys r us. I wouldnt mind getting together before that though. There is a cc's coffee shop a block from the toy store. I'd be glad to get together up there beforehand if you want to, or anywhere else for that matter.

 

How did the event go? Were the children happy? Pics?

 

Man, it was a blast. The children were thrilled to see the cars but the carts full of toys didn't hurt either! We were able to give every patient a gift with plenty left over. Overall a great success. Cars in attendance: 5 ferrari, m6, m3, lotus, 997s, 944, RS4, Ford GT, GTR, and the infamous Smart

I don't see pics I wish I could have made it, but I work every Saturday. Sounded like it was a successful event.
