I guess we are all entitled to our opinions. For the money I’d buy a Tesla all day long. If I needed to be cool at C&C then sure the Taycan will get more attention, for now anyways.

Everyone is different and ours is a dog-hauler for the wife so we can take a couple other cars off the road to save.
Do you have a hard time calling it a 'sports car'?.......I mean it's is a 5,000 lb. four-door sedan.

 

Agreed. I own Teslas and I LOVE them. Drove a Taycan Turbo this past weekend and liked it very much but $160-180K is steep. Even a moderate option 4S is $130K+.

 

If you want a sportscar with an electric motor there is no substitute.

 

Yes, agreed. I can drive tesla S long range from SF to LA using a super charge along the way, nice. I was testing Taycan and asking how I can drive the Taycan from SF to LA 370 miles. Where can I charge? NONE ...

 

That aint a problem of the car. Thats a problem of missing infrastructure in your country.

 

Completely anecdotal evidence but not sure in my area near Boston it’s selling very well. So many of them available. Go to a Tesla dealer and there is none and they are basically made to,order. Meanwhile I can go and pickup a Taycan in what ever flavor I want as they are just sat there waiting to go. Love the car think it looks great but they have done to many versions and it’s too expensive for what it is. Excited to see the Macan and Boxster in electric as it will mean a more competitive price point.
