K&N Air Intake help

I found an old post by Dan at Vivid racing confirming the K&N 57 Series Cold Air Intake fits a 2008 C2S. Based on this info I purchased and now have it in my hands, but I have a question though and need some technical support.

When removing the stock air box there is a switch with a series of vacuum lines connected on the back side of the stock air box. So in the K&N instructions there is no mention of these lines and I do not know what I should do with them.

Can anybody out there give me some info on what I need to do. Is it possible this air intake doesn't really fit a 08 C2S?

Thnx

Remove the vacuum sensor and just tie wrap it down. It doesn't really do anything. Keep both plastic pieces together. Tie down vacuum hose as wheel.

Wouldn't capping off the solenoid valve cause the CEL to light up? What happen if you do not cap off the solenoid valve?

Intersting revelation!! Fabspeed Motorsports has the installation instruction for their Competition Air intake which specifically says capping the vacuum soleniod valve will cause the CEL to light up.......
