How do I remove the roof panel on my 2001 C4 coupe?
This is the panel were the lights, sunroof switch, etc is located.
Looks like I need to replace my sunroof switch!

Pry out the black plastic "dummy" buttons with your fingernail or a credit card or a small screwdriver. This will show 2 Torx screws. Unscrew them and pull down/back on the entire assemble. Should pop right off.

 

Once you have it off, you can disconnect all of the wires. Then you can take the entire console out and glue/epoxy the moonroof switch directly to the console. The clips are easy to break and will probably just break again if you replace things.
