Is it any good? I know it is only 1.4 miles, but they will be completing a larger track soon, yes?

I did one of the first event they had there last year, a motorcycle trackday. I was on a Ducati 1098 and honestly, didn't have a great time. The track is very tight, non-technical and has no elevation change, I never had to get out of third gear. It's better suited to lightweight bikes (125GP, SV650, Supermoto), autocross and go-carts in it's current super short configuration if you ask me.
Other issues at the time included no toilets, no electricity, and no facilites at that time. It's built on the very rough remains of an old blimp station which now looks like a salvage yard of sorts. On a bike, much of the run-off areas are delapidated concrete, it would tear a person and bike up like a chipper. I won't go back on a bike in it's current state, there are just too many good options elsewhere.
It's an asphalt track laid on top of an old concrete pad, very strange and looks nothing like you've seen before. There are some places that you did not want to drop a wheel off of. Now, they might have improved it dramatically since I was there last year, the track surface itself was nice and a close track day is better than nothing, though I think they're asking quite a lot compared to their competitors at better tracks.
Come up to Austin and try Harris Hill Road in San Marcos, also a small technical track, but laid out nicely with a fun flowing pace in a nice setting.

Thank you very much consolidated...My favorite track (only been on 2) is TWS.
MSR Houston is ok...too small for my GT2, but tolerable. I would do MSR if Drivers Edge used it and I could get 2 days for $300, but apparently MSR has for some reason priced themselves out of the market.
