Petition to fix Willow Springs

If you drive at the track, plan on ever going to the track or even just know someone that drives at the track, specifically Willow Springs but not limited to that, please sign this petition, it only take a minute:

http://www.ipetitions.com/petition/P...ety/index.html

The runoff areas around turn 9, and most of the track for that matter, are in need of some major fixing. As well as the divets in the esses of Streets of Willow.

A worthy petition. Not sure if it will do anything being how Willow Springs is run now.

FYI, This came as a result of a NASA event driver being killed at the track. I'll leave it to you to determine if the changes would have made an effect.

Well, it's worth a shot to let Willow know that people want a change. And yeah, I know about the guy that died, I didn't read any details, I heard he didn't have a helmet possibly and definitely no roll bar, but nevertheless, if the track was in better shape, he may not have flipped.... And, on Streets of Willow, if they fix those holes at the edges of the esses, my wheel would be in much better shape, along with tons of other peoples wheels and other parts of their car that get damaged by hitting those stupid holes.

I 'donated' 2 right front wheels to the holes by the esses. I don't clip that apex any more. Too expensive.

The Mini driver did had a helmet but no roll bar.

Fixing Willow

Excellent idea.. considering the amount of clubs that utilize the facility – they really should ‘fix’ the items listed above.

Wondering.. where did the driver go off. If it's at the end of turn 8 going into 9 ..this will be the second fatal one that I know of.. 20 years ago a POC driver taged it too- RIP

The driver lost control in turn 9, attempted to save it, darted back across the track, then barrel rolled and end over end a number of times.

That place is the worst. Very dangerous and crude. A little further North you have Buttonwillow. A better test track for sure.

I saw the Mini Cooper incident with my own eyes, and I think its a great idea to fix any issues with the track's condition.
