I found out from TRG that there is a problem with the droplinks binding on the 996 if ther are placed on the stiffest positions on the sway bar. The binding will lead to the failure of the link if placed under load and a tight turning raidius (autocross). They are recommending to keep the links on a softer setting until they finalize a new droplink body that should eliminate the problem.
