KA - In Memory of my Mom (Vincee) and best friend Michael J. Maring
sharkster,
The trick was to get someone who can build a cam from billet using CNC controls. We currently have a company doing it. Todd at Promotive reviewed what we are building and said that as long as the cam pointers are in the same location as the 996tt it will be no problem for him to tune. It will be done on the engine dyno. We intend to tune it for GT30R's and GT40R's. That will require another set of headers and miso parts but, depending on how we are going to play it will be a quick change of a few parts.

Sometimes you can go crazy on the hardware side but if you can't get the tuning to support it, what's the use? I hear you on the custom headers etc.. that won't be too hard for Scargo to do but it'll be needed going from two different turbo set ups.Anyways, I don't care how long it takes (although for your sake I wish is was done already), I got a ride in your car ages ago and that's all I needed
I still blame you and your car as the inspiration for all of my subsequent madness. It's mostly you're fault, I'm stuck tweaking these cars
It's commendable that you're still knee deep in this thing and haven't given up. Remember what your car was like a few years ago, I've no doubt when it's finished it'll be bad ***.

The problem has been that even though I have footed the bill certain people don't seem to want to transmit the info. They want to have it for themselves. I told Rob to politely expalain the facts of life to this person, otherwise it will soob become very expensive for him.

I really love the 996tt car. Twenty years from now I will still own KA.
When looking at it from that perspective, this little delay is simply a nuscience (sp).
