KA - In Memory of my Mom (Vincee) and best friend Michael J. Maring
Not really sure why the designer/manufacturer of the part is taking so long. I'm sure the economy has taken it's toll on some business. As for other people's work, I am a fan of the performance and reliability speaking for itself. Other than that issues usually develop.
The majority of the parts on KA were designed/manufacturered from the bottom up. Knowing the animal I anticipated delays. However, it the case of this CF plenum a four month original schedule turned into over fourteen months and both you and I know there is something else involved in the mix. I am not judging. I am trying to help, however I have set a deadline and have an alternative plan if the parts are not delivered soon.

Just rubbed me wrong when they were on here telling everyone else how they are doing everything wrong etc... instead of finishing your stuff
art .... life is good, however final completion of KA has been held up due to the CF intake. I authorized commencement of design and manufacture in November 2010. I placed half down in February 2011. The economy slowed and I believe they were caught up in the downturn. I recently gave them a drop dead date of February 7, 2012 to deliver and have yet to receive a firm reply.
I spoke with Rob King from S Car Go Racing and told him to proceed with final assembly of KA utilizing a modified GT3 Cup intake we have in our possession. This will actually simplify matters as we will not be utilizing the six individual TB's, the dual injectors or the dual servo motors which would have required a Motec/Link system as well as a modified wiring harness. We will still utilize a Pulsed CDI system and E85/nitrous.
The motor is complete.
Glad to hear things are moving now. This thread deserves a NOBLE PRIZE when it's complete. Can't wait to hear the stats later. Cheers.

Spoke to Rob at Scargo Racing today. The manifold is on the motor. The Motor will be placed in the car and Mark will complete some fabrication parts. The the fuel system will be changed a bit for the E85.
It is now well on it's way.

Yes, it is the Cup Plenum for now. I have not given up on the Six TB CF plenum. The designer is going through some personal problems and I wish him all my best. I do believe at some point I will see my plenum from him.
I spoke with him today and he is sending the Pulsed CD unit, wiring harness and coils to Scargo.

We are definitly making progress. Due to the snails pace of the project, I had not visited the car four about four years. I only sent checks based on pictures.
I spoke to Rob at Scargo Racing and based on the conversation I have arranged to visit his facility (and KA) within the next ten days.

If you want to run the 6 TB why not use the cup set up and run 2250cc ID injectors? If you still need more injector then add secondary ones above the TB? If I may, which cup intake are you using?

Why the secondary air inlets in the heads are not just blocked but there's the connecting pipe? I suppose that the pump will be deleted?
Nice mods to Cup intake they've made. In this
video you can see the same intake used in 1000+ hp German engine. Starting from 0:55. Note the strap that holds the OEM! 997 turbo Y-pipe to TB and intake...

The motors are a bit different.
We have a 4.4L motor that was built with absolutely no part left un touched. It appears from the engine dyno we are running an additional 600 hp @ 1.6 bar (don't know where they are running their motor.) We have not test above 1.6 bar. The motor will go 2.5 bar with a redline line of 9300 rpm's ....... if it can stay together.
