I have seen plenty of fabric based tow hooks. In fact proper design and stitching youll have a pretty strong piece similar to how seat belts are made.

 

They do make tow straps after all.

agreed, but i can honestly say i've never seen a fabric towhook

 

those are very common on the JGTC race cars and also DTM race cars... i have custom ones on my car as well... great thing about these are you can tuck them away till you really have to use them...

 

we pickup things that weigh 100times what that car does with the same materials used.

I am a newbie, but I haven't seen that wing before . . . or noticed it (since I have seen a new GT3 RS in person). Hmmm . . . my wife really thinks we should get a wing, but I have a 997.1 C2S.

Straps will give enough to save your chassis as well.
