They say imitation is the greatest form of flattery. I love what you've done with the R and can honestly say I can see me doing something very similar to mine once they hit the States...
Some fantastic photos you have there.
Thanks for posting up. The front splitter and hood really stand out for me as they look great but are functional too.

GTI or R32

I'm in the market for a new car...was looking initially at a 1 or 2 year old 911 or M3 but having done the sums realised I am not at the level i need to be to splash out that much on a car so am thinking R or GTI instead - is it just me or does the GTI look better than the R cosmetically speaking? I prefer the detroit rims, the front grille, the rear exhausts, and even the steering wheel over the R, less so the R's 4WD and extra grunt...

also MGS - i read on a GTI forum somewhere (biased i know) a 996 owner who had a GTI as a daily driver and said he preferred that over the 911 - can i ask what are your thoughts on this?

I get the feeling he meant he preferred it as far as bang for your buck (and not having to worry about parking/where he parks it etc) rather than straight up comparo....

Ken your car looks great, I can't wait to import this kit in for my Golf R when it gets here. There are 3 local VW dealers with in 20 minutes of me and I'm on each one of their waiting lists.

I hope to have the first Golf R with Revozport and APR Stage 3 Turbo kit

Sick. It's a shame we (USA) can't experience one of these cars until the end of '11
