Road Trip to Vegas... need advice

In the next couple weeks I am planning on taking my newly supercharged 997 to Vegas. ( From Dallas)
I would like to safely run in the triple digits to shorten the trip and see the performance I have gained.

Can you give me ideas on routes to take and areas to avoid( speedtraps and weather)
Interesting spots along the way?

Which Hotel/ casino has the best Valet?

any advice is greatly appreciated.
Gracias

I can't help you with your routes, but the valet at the Four Seasons is pretty good as it tends to be a quieter part of the Mandalay Bay.

This site might help: http://www.speedtrap.org/site_map/

EDIT: HAHA, I just realized this post is 5 months old, but it was at the top of the forum. Still, it's a great interactive site to check out.

Arizona is deploying more and more photo radar SUVs and vans on the interstates in rural areas along with fixed photo radar sites in the metro Phoenix area. Since they move the vehicles around you don't know where they will be. i saw two of them (they are marked and obvious) on I-10 between Tucson and Phoenix last week. They have a sign on the side of the road with a warning but at the speeds you are talking about it might not be enough of a warning. So be careful in AZ.
