Question 997S Tire fitment question

My '07 997 S came with 295/30/ZR19 rear tires on 19" Carrera Classic wheels. Will 305/30/ZR19 tires fit on these wheels without issues? (11")
Do I need spacers? Mike

You will be fine with that size.

Champion runs a 325 on an 11" rim.

Thanks for the response Alpine 997. I'm looking at new street wheels and thought I could put track tires on the stock wheels for DE sessions. There is a wider tire Mfr. selection when you get into the 305's.

I'm running 305's on 11" wheels for the street for looks.

Not sure I'd run that setup on the track since it could possibly increase the understeer inherent in the car.

you can run up 12.0" on the back of that thing, 325 series tire shouldn't be a issue

I run 305 mpsc's on the track and they are awesome. No increase in understeer...

Spacers push the wheel further out - depends on what look you want on whether you want spacers or not. The 305's will push the tire out another 5mm.
