Another Wheel Thread, Sorry!!!....

It is going to be spring here soon and I am about to order some wheels for my Ruf. I have decided I am not getting Ruf wheels. I want a lip and black center polished lip. I also don't feel like dealing with spacers again.
I am getting Iforged either Aero's or the new Trial without the fluting in the middle. The Aero's will come with roughly a 1-1.5" lip in front and 3" lip in the rear. The Trial comes with a 3" lip in front and a 5" lip in the rear. Should I go Jennifer Aniston (Aero) or Angelina Jolie (Trial)??

Aero:

Trial:

Again, the Trial will be without the detail in the middle of the spoke. The spokes are a little thicker on these, I think it is throwing me off a little........

Aero. The fluting in the Trial will cut down the flash of the wheel quite a bit. It makes it look too busy.

The Aero is somewhat of an older design. I had these on my 545i and they looked great. Check out some of the DPE wheels or HRE 900 series...

Griza, considering your not doing the center groove the trial is the way to go. Having the larger lip is going to make you happier in the end. Besides Angelina Jolie is way hotter. I'm also an Iforged dealer in case you were looking for one. Danny 626-568-8886

I was actually going to have the fluting removed from the Trial. It is definitely too busy.

I was looking at the gallery on the Iforged website. The more I saw the Trial, I didn't like it. The spokes appear to be curved, I like them more flat. I am a fan of huge lips though!! I will give you a ring tomorrow so we can discuss.............

I agree it is an older design, but it is a damn good looking wheel. I had them on my S4 and got a lot of compliments. I will check out DPE again, thanks for reminding me of them. HRE's are too soft, I live in NY which is like driving through land mines with all of the potholes. My Iforged held up without a bend for two years, winters excluded.

Have you guys seen the new Vellano wheels? I'm not a distributor or anything, but I've heard from the distributor that they are stronger than HREs at about the same weight. Check them out...what do you guys think? www.vellanowheels.com Do you know anyone who has these wheels?
