Help on tires

I have some Ruf Classics in 17's, the rears are 10" and the front is 8.5". What is the widest yet nicest profile tire that will fit this wheel. This is going on my 79' 930, I need alot of grip

I would do 235/45 17, 265/40 17 In the combo I have:

235/45R17 DU DIREZZA DZ101 $108.00
265/40R17 DU DIREZZA DZ101 $129.00

235/45R17 MI PILOT SP PS2 $194.00
265/40R17 MI PILOT SP PS2 $244.00
