Toyo Tires?

I am selling my M3 and wanted to wrap some new tires on them to help with the sale (they are pretty bad now). Anyone use Toyo? I have heard good things and they are so much cheaper than the others.

I think they are great tires. I have not had a bad experience with any of their products. Used the Toyo RA-1 on the racecar and Toyo T1R on street car. In fact, speedvision/speed channel still has them as required tire on the cars that run that series if i remember correctly.

I run Toyo Proxes 4's on my two subaru's. I went with the proxes 4's instead of the T1-R's because they're all-season all-weather super high performance tires instead of summer tires. They're excellent. And inexpensive. Good dirt traction too.

I'd buy them regardless if you were selling or not.

How come Tirerack doesn't carry them? The fact that you don't sell them but use them is good enough for me.

I was happy with mine, although they felt a little "greasy" when new compared to some of the other brands they were great after getting some miles on them.

I had them (Toyo T-1S) on my Evo and they were good. They're very good in the rain.

I actually just put on a set of Toyo T1R (in 19" sizes). They have a lot of tread so you can feel tread squirm but they provide a great ride for 19" tires. Pretty decent wet grip also. Like most Toyo tires, I expect them to be at their best when about half the tread is gone.

I think they make excellent street tires (also have a decent rim protector) but would recommend that they be shaved prior to going to the track.
