20" and 325 tires on 996TT

HI guys,
Have anyone try 20"x 12 wheels or 325-25-20 tires on 996TT?
Spec of the wheels and any mod. to fit the 325 in the back will be appreciated...
Thanks

We have a 20" staggered setup for it. Front is 20x8.5 and the rear is a 20x11. 255-30-20F and 305-25-20 R. But doccao is right, most people do not run this fitment,

why 20s? why ruin the ride quality and performance of the car? why wear a white shirt and pour coffee on it?

Because 20's look better and perform well, even Porsche recognized that and plus sized all the new cars. Why run 19" if you can run 18"? The 996 Turbo ran 18" from the factory don't deviate from that. All the big name tuners make 20" rims now for Porsches, they don't seem to think it hinders performance.

Wheelenhancement.com told me that 20" wheels will burn up the front differential.

They make them cause people buy them, they don't care about perf or ride it about $$.. People watch mtv cribs and say I want some dubs on my ride... its more about looks not comfort. I say buy a rice burner instead!

Can you say "Hello Moto "

What are you talking about? Porsche doesn't care about performance? They just went up 3"+ in diameters on the 911s in less than 7-8 years. The rear tires are now 30 series profile. Cayennes get 21" rims now! Just watch the Panamera will probably get 20" rims from the factory. I trust that Porsche knows what they are doing. Its normal to go one plus size from the factory, even two plus size. When the 996 came out it was 17" standard from the factory but nobody *****es and moans when someone buys a 19" rim for it.

I wouldn't put 325 series tires on a 20" wheel for a 911 Turbo though.

I did a 997 with Ruf wheels (20x12.5) and 345/25's on it. It can be done. If you want 20x12 with 325/25, I would get a set of spacers.
