Go play with one in a store. That's what I did.
Overall, I like the Garmin interface a lot. It certainly is easier to enter street names with an on-screen keyboard instead of the silly knob my S4's satnav had. The map screen is a little more cluttered than I'd want too, but that's a minor thing. The screen is very easy to read, and the voice directions are very good, the best I've used so far.
I do wish it had a knob for volume, and some physical buttons for track previous/next, those are a bit tricky to use while driving, if you want to keep your eyes on the road.
