2014 Panamera Facelift Leaked!

Bad news: There’s no sexy Porsche Panawagon in these pictures. I know, I’m disappointed a little bit as well.

That said, Porsche does have a few pleasant surprises in store for Panamera buyers this year.

In typical Porsche fashion, the changes are subtle. The LED strips on the front bumper are now in their own housing. The space in the grill has two splitters now instead of one. I wonder if that means the face lift has a little more front-end downforce at speed?

The key differentiator for the facelift models will be the taillights. They’re not honeycombed like the tails on the 2013 model. They’re LEDs like in the new Cayman. I think it’s an improved look. The current ones look like Swarovski crystal. It’s a neat effect, I guess, I just think the darkness of the new taillights is more fitting.

Supposedly, the Panamera’s getting new engine options as well. According to Carscoop, there’s a hybrid v6 and twin-turbo v6 on the way as well. Is the Panamera range getting a little bit of variety? We’ll know more later.
