The Acura NSX was the everyman’s super sports car. It was also a car that could be driven comfortably and reliably everyday. For the past century, Acura has been promising a replacement to that car. They’ve shown us prototype after prototype.
The Porsche Boxster has always lived in the shadow of the 911. Even if it is just as good of a car to drive as the 911, it’s often shunned as the car that announces to the world that you couldn’t afford a 911.
The new Ferrari is said to have a variation of the engine found in the California T, but tuned to somewhere in the 660 horsepower range. From these shots, it looks like the front of the car will retain much of the look of the regular 458, and not the bonkers Speciale.
You’ll notice that these pictures of the Ferrari Sergio differ some from the original concept. That’s because they needed to add things like windshields to make the car road-legal. But some things haven’t changed, and that’s the performance.
