Jake Stumph is a lifelong car enthusiast and racer, and former content editor for Internet Brands Automotive which he joined in 2015. His work has been featured by several other prominent automotive outlets, including Jalopnik and Autobytel.
He obtained a bachelor's degree in Political Science at the Ohio State University in 2013, then pivoted from covering politics and policy to writing about his automotive adventures, something that, he says, is a lot more fun. Since that time, he has established connections with most of the world's major automakers, as well as other key brands in the automotive industry.
He enjoys track days, drifting, and autocross, at least, when his cars are running right, which is uncommon.
911 prices have exploded, however, let’s appreciate this financial joke. The 911 has gotten too expensive! It’s a common sentiment that usually comes from Porsche owners who have been around for a while. Of course, it’s a premium object, it’s going to carry a premium price tag. However, one doesn’t have to look terribly far […] More »

A dis-used race track has been listed for sale on RacingJunk and it’s too good not to share. Montgomery Motorsports Park is available for purchase. Located just 45 minutes outside […] More »
The 2017 Fiat 500 Abarth is the littlest, loudest, Italian stallion. It’s a fun-sized terror, the 500 Abarth. Equal parts cute, for the casual passerby, and electrifying for those in the know. I will be completely honest: I did not expect to enjoy the 500 as much as I did. Hopefully this colors the rest […] More »
Renowned tuner Novitec invited us to schmooze with Los Angeles’ elites at Pirelli P-ZERO World. Of course, we weren’t just there for the food and free drinks (although, it was certainly a perk). We were there to witness Novitec’s live unveiling of their latest body kit for the Maserati Levante SUV. Said Levante was conveniently […] More »
We are cruising around in the $278,000 Bentley Bentayga, feeling nouveau riche. I’m certain that the team at Crewe who designed and assembled the Bentley Bentayga will dislike the association, but in this uber SUV I can think of only one song to blast at full tilt, windows down, in Los Angeles traffic. “We ain’t […] More »
It’s not just Ferraris, either. Lister, Jaguar, Lotus; AC Cobra’s, and many others throw down at Goodwood. The past few years of Goodwood have become a truly amazing spectacle. Vintage racers are not parked on a well-manicured lawn and subjected to concours. No, these cars are driven hard. This is ten-tenths wheeling, and these racers […] More »
