Mcchip Introduces 595hp Porsche 993 GT2
Overall, I think the Porsche 993 doesn’t get enough love. They were the last of the aircooled Porsches, and they were the world’s introduction to the GT2 lineage. Could you imagine? Before this, we lived in a world devoid of turbo charged, rear-engine, oversteer-y death traps. What a boring time that must’ve been.

Still, like all things fast, the 993 GT2 has fallen into the hands of a tuner that seeks to make it even faster that it came from factory. This time their name is Mcchip, and their goal was to turn the 993 GT2 into a street-legal racing machine. They’ve equipped it with a new engine block, new turbos, and a new tune. All that stuff has lifted the engine from 450hp to 596hp. All that force gets funneled through a DREXLER lsd before (presumably) sending the rear tires to an early grave.

The interior has been stripped out and left spartan. It is empty, but it’s worth noting that it looks finished. They’re even serious about safety as evidenced by the full roll cage and Recaros. All in all, this seems like the complete package for someone seeking road legal track toy. For a car that costs roughly $265,000, it better.
