The bizarre occurrence led Tesla to give the following statement: “We are working with the authorities to establish the facts of the incident and offer our full cooperation. The passengers are all unharmed. They were able to safely exit the vehicle before the incident occurred.”
Like most technology applications nowadays, the world runs on software updates and not so much on hardware redesigns. Such is the case of the new software recently unveiled by Tesla, which awards their original Roadster model a total battery range of 340 miles.
