I tried to get a video of my wipers working, but they won't operate with the hood up and you can't see anything useful with the hood down. Best I could do was take a picture with the wipers in the service position.

 

Thanks! I think there's a kill switch that prevents the windshield wiper motor from operating with the hood up. It's tied into the hood latch and you can disable it by manually clicking the latch into closed position with the hood up. I'm going to try this tomorrow and post a video of my crazy wiper motor problem.

 

Yeah, didn't want to override it. The driver side wiper arm contacts the hood when the wipers are vertical.

Yup, sure looks backwards. And that little "head fake" thing at the start of the cycle is pretty weird too.
