What do you think of this price???

Seems like a pretty good deal to me.

All things considered and knowing that I would get an intense PPI before I ever considered purchasing, this seems like a deal to me. What do you all think?

Based on what I've learned by researching a similar car here in Chicago its a good price. I would offer maybe 15k depending on the condition though.

Yeah that's around what I was thinking based on the miles, for 15K it would be real solid.

What are the specs, mileage/color(int/ext)/year? There are some good deals out there.

I sold my 84 with 70K miles on it for 21.9K but it was in really good shape and guards red with tan int.

Ever since I sold it I've wanted another, but really want that G50 trans.

I'd love to do an 88 white coupe and put the ruf wheels on it, whale tail and just keep it real clean.

Good deal if the PPI turns out OK. Don't be put off about not having a G50, a well maintained and set up 915 is just as good IMO.

So long as it has a clear history, it sounds like a decent enough deal. I would definitely be hopping all over it if I were you (and had room for another car).

Yeah kind of crazy story. I called the guy yesterday and he said he just moved out to Cali for work a week and a half ago. He had the car up for sale here at a cheap price because he wanted to get rid of a lot of stuff before he moved, but didn't get much action on it and had to ship it over.

Now he's out there in Cali and has a little more time and researched the prices again and said he would probably sell it for around $20K. I'm sure if I got with him right before he left I probably could have gotten it for $15K since shipping is around 1.5K. DOH!!!!!!!

Could have thrown some black Fauchs on it and cleaned it up real nice and it would have been rediculous. Timing is a *****!!!

Redcoupe, yeah it is an 88 and has the G50, I like the 915 as well, both are good tranys I just think the G50 is a little smoother.

OK price. I never liked the Turbo wing on the narrow body cars and the fact that it's missing the center caps on the wheels makes me wonder how well cared for the car was by it's current owner. $16k is a good price for a nice 88 with 94k on it IMO.
