Hello guys,

Picked up my first aircooled today, and I am soooooo excited about it, just wanted to share. 69k on the clock, all original, California car originally. Mechanics is great, but I am still planning to rebuild the engine during winter because, I am not going to give up this one for years to come.

I will be around, more active here. Later tomorrow I will update the thread with pictures.

Wow, Nice Air Cooled, Good to know there is not only interest in 997´s 991´s and so on here...
Anyway, I have an 85 carrera and nobody has given me a good answer regarding the best oil to use in these engines. Mine has 85K and runs strong with excellent compression. any advice will be appreciated.
