Kokeln Turbos

I was wondering if anyone has input on the new Kokeln turbos vs. the old standby K-27-7200. I am trying to decide between the two for my 89 930 and was wondering if anyone has used the Kokeln turbo. My engine is stock except for a 1 bar spring and a GHL muffler. I plan to put on GHL headers, Kokeln Intercooler and a new turbo. Thanks in advance.

Just get a K27. I am pretty sure the Kokeln Turbos are just re-badged K27's.

Koklen is a Garret based turbo with ceramic bearings. They are very good, provide quick spool, works well with CIS but do not provide the longevity of the KKK. If your looking at the K27 go for the HF. The HF works very well with CIS motors too.

You should look at the High Flow turbos that Kevin at Ultimate Motorwerks sells. They are top notch and he has great customer service.

Iborroel:
Have you used Ultimate Motorwerks? Their website is not complete and doesn't have a phone number. Where are they located? Thanks

I have dealt with Kevin at UMW in the past since I lived in the Seattle area and he's located in the Woodinville area. I have his number but I don't think I should just post it on here. Just email him and he'll get back to you. He is always willing to help out.
