New purchase : 1986 930

Hello gentleman. New to the Porsche family. Just recently purchased a 1986 Porsche 930. Car already has the basic upgrades...C2 bodykit, Kokeln Intercooler, K27 turbo, B&B exhaust..etc, but needs engine work. I'm here in Maryland and I remember seeing TurboVR6's car for sale some time ago and i would love to pick your brain about where to go locally and whatnot So if you're out there drop me a line. If any of you guys have anything to add, fell free to chime in. Thanx guys

Mitch

pics

It was raining when I picked up the car and I had it towed straight to the shop, as it needs engine work. That being said, I only had time to snap a few pics with my phone

thanks, it looks nice, i love it. It has that classic Porsche look, once everything is done plus with a little detailing it is going to be a beauty piece. Good luck with everything

I like TPC in Jessup Md for my Porsche work and if you call them I am sure they can help you out. Call Tom 410-799-7223 and tell him Jamie Furman referred you.

Thanx for the congrats as well as the recommendations guys. Ivrs - high teens, low 20's is pretty much a good ballpark. If it's in excellent condition I'd say mid 20's to 30.

Hey Mitch, Car looks great. I would suggest adding the black rubber trim on the front bumper and you are ready to go.

Let me know what info you need but I did all my own work to my car. Never liked handing over my keys to anyone

Heeyy...TurboVR6 thanx for responding. Glad you're still around. First I'm gonna do a compression test then a leak down test. Then were gonna put a stethoscope on it. And of course drop the engine after all is said and done. If u don't mind, I'd like to run a question or two by you once we get started. I'm in columbia...
