I have always loved the 911 Turbo and always had one in my collection. I would also chip it and put a nice aftermarket exhaust system on it to make it perfect.

For me, I think the 911 Turbo with a tune and exhaust, is the perfect blend of performance and luxury. If I could only own one sports car, I would get the 911 Turbo S. If I have a collection of cars, I would always have one in my collection. It's that good!

^^ Now THAT's a stable!!

My $0.02 is if you bought a 991 TTS expecting drama then, with all due respect, you didn't do your research! Porsche purposefully engineered all the drama OUT of the 991 TTS! The 991 TTS is all about function (although it isn't lacking in the form dept. either, it's a good looking car, staying true to the iconic 911 shape). There are more nannies (electronic) on the 991 TTS than on the Upper East Side!

To be clear, for me, drama does not equal exhilarating! When I "choose" to, I can elicit an incredibly exhilarating ride out of my 997 TTS however the TTS provides that exhilaration WITHOUT drama! That's the beauty of Porsche's TTS, incredible ability to deliver spirited motoring without the drama! Whether on the track, at the dragstrip or on public roads (yes I'm guilty of the occasional burst on the highway), the overall package that is the TTS delivers constantly and reliably! I've got a few mods to further enhance the feeling, exhaust, tune and TPC module (all the car needs IMHO).

You are correct though, cruising around town, the below the radar attention my car gets (familiar Porsche style), modest sounding exhaust (Europipe is relatively civil at low rpm), imperceptible shifts (PDK hit 7th gear by 45mph in 'normal' mode) and the absence of any squeaks and rattles (solidly built chassis) does feel a little 'BORING' but that EXACTLY how I like it, until I CHOOSE to wake her up then all bets are off! Enjoy your car, you've got an amazing 'appliance'...an incredible DD supercar, cliché but very true.

usually , the easiest way to take the boring feel on stock turbocharged cars , is going full bolt ons . Get an ipd plenum , bmc air filter(or agency intake , just for the intake noise) , exhaust , esmotor intercoolers and coob
