This really comes down to one main factor and that is how you are going to use the car. If it's just for driving it on a weekend when the weather is nice and you have already have a daily and another regular sports car, then 458 all day long. But if you are looking for something to drive to work from time to time, meetings, going for rides to get coffee hence you are putting a good 5K+ on it, then it's the TTS all the day long.

What part of Canada do you live in where you are getting a discount on the Porsche 911 cab tts by $7000 and you are then paying $50,000 over list price on a 458 for Ferrari spider?

List on the Porsche is $222,000 and the 458 spider is $299,900. Cdn. That works out to $78 k difference plus any options you select above and beyond.

The 458 also comes with a 3 warranty and 7 year full Maintance package.

 

My mistake, the cab may cost 222. I was thinking about the tts I purchased, it was 207 list plus options minus discount of 3%. I have yet to see any Ferrari 458 sell for anything even remotely close to 299. The ones I have looked at were in the 260 range and they were 2010 models.

I'm sure my dealer would honor me the same discount on a tts cab.

 

I am sure your dealer would look after you on the tts cab. You are right most 458 spiders would sell with options in the $320 to $360 range. There are a few options on the tts cab that will bring it to the $245 mark. My 14 Spider came out to $349 plus tax. Good luck with your new tt!
